Join us for a Spring Farm to Table dinner as she incorporates food that is locally grown on the rooftop farm above. This unique and delicious evening will celebrate African, Caribbean and ancestral influences in our cuisine as we eat our way through a 4 course plant-based dinner, lovingly created in front of you. You will experience the energy and passion Chef Yadi puts into her meals. Tours to the beautiful rooftop farm will be available through out the night, with panoramic spectacular views and great photo opportunities of the city skyline.
Included in the festivities will be beer, wine, and our signature prosecco farm cocktail, made with freshly harvested basil.

Chef Yadi brings her unique perspective and influence from her summers spent on her grandparents sugarcane fields and farmlands, to the community gardens and food sovereignty spaces she works with today.
Yadira Garcia is a trained natural-foods Chef and certified Integrative Health Coach, who grew up in the South Bronx. She is now leveraging her education as a community activist, educator, speaker and Chef under the platform she created, Happy Healthy Latina. Helping to address food justice, nutrition, education & health inequities in NYC, especially for underrepresented and under-served neighborhoods.
Happy Healthy Latina works as an On-Air Talent, with several Community Based Organizations, Bronx/NYC Urban Farms and Private clients as a culturally relevant nutrition education/food justice workshop curriculum creator & facilitator. Happy Healthy Latina was named in 2018’s Top 40 under 40 individuals working in Food Justice by Hunter Food Policy Center. She sits on Columbia Universities NYCNEN Board (NYC Nutrition Exchange Network), the city’s first Nutrition Education Coalition. She has been featured on the Dr. Oz Show, The Chew, NY Times, NBC, and NBC Latino. Her Cooking Shows include Healthy Cocina – an original concept by her, produced by Zoe Saldana, and Buzzfeed – where her plant-based cooking has garnered millions of views. If she’s not creating a new recipe that celebrates ancestral healing through local seasonal food, she’s proud to partner with organizations such as Wellness In The Schools, where she previously worked as a Chef Instructor, an organization that directly impacts the equity, access, and right to fresh food for all children!
